Race Day Logistics
RACE DAY PARKING
Participants will receive a parking pass at the packet pickup expo on Saturday. Those who have paid for race day packet pickup should park at Lot A.
Parking Lot A - Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center
The VT Corporate Research Center (CRC) lots open at 5:30am on race day. The CRC has 2 entrances on the north and south end of the business park.
Directions:
From 460 East, take Exit 6 (Southgate Dr) and take a right at the roundabout onto Research Center Dr. Follow signs to Lot A and the directions of parking volunteers.
If arriving before 7:15am: From 460 West, take Exit 5A (Industrial Park Rd), take a left on Industrial Park Rd, straight at the light, and right onto Research Center Dr. Follow the directions of parking volunteers. The south entrance to the CRC will not be accessible after 7:15am.

Parking Lot B - Virginia Tech Chicken Hill Parking Lot
The VT Chicken Hill Lot B opens at 5:30am. The lot is located off Southgate Dr on the edge of Virginia Tech's campus. Follow signs to shuttle boarding and take a short 5 min ride to the start/finish line. Shuttles depart every ~10 minutes. Shuttle drop-off is the VT Executive Airport off Research Center Drive. Shuttles run from 5:30am to noon on race day. To return to Lot B, board the shuttle at the same location as drop-off (VT Executive Airport). Spectators not accompanied by a runners with a Lot A parking pass should park in Lot B and take the shuttle. A great spectating option is to cheer at Chicken Hill (mile 8.3 on the course) and take the shuttle to the finish line.
Directions:
From 460 East/West, take Exit 6 (Southgate Dr) and at the roundabout, stay on Southgate Drive. Stay straight through the second roundabout. Follow Lot B signage to the Chicken Hill Lot. It is approximately 0.5 miles from the first roundabout.
DROPPING OFF A RUNNER
If you are dropping off a runner, follow Drop-Off Parking signage to the Virginia Tech Executive Airport. It is directly across from the start/finish area. The VT Airport is also the location shuttles will be dropping off and picking up athletes and spectators.

BAG DROP
Bag drop is available at the tent nearest the finish line. You must use the clear bag you receive at packet pick-up. For security reasons, no other bags will be accepted. Please do not leave any bags unattended aside from bag drop - any bags left unattended will be searched by police.
