Registration Info
Registration for the 2026 Hokie Half Marathon & 5k is now open! Registration fees go up August 14th for the Hokie Half Marathon and Hokie 5K. Online registration closes at 7pm on September 19th.
No Frills Option – For a cheaper price, you can run the Hokie Half with the no frills package. The no frills package means you get your racing bib, Hokie Bird finisher medal if you finish, food, and all the race course amenities. You will not receive the registration shirt, finisher gift and other race swag.

* The virtual option must be completed between September 12th and 20th. A photo of your Garmin, Strava, Map My Run, etc. will be needed to confirm finish. Virtual results will be listed, but in a separate, virtual-only category. You can email proof to RunAboutSports@gmail.com. CANCELLATION AND TRANSFER POLICY
Registration fees are NON-REFUNDABLE. We do allow the transfer of your bib number to another runner or deferral to next year as long as it is done by September 13th, 2026.

You can also change races. There is a $10 transfer fee unless changing from the half to the 5K with a finisher medal. To transfer, follow these instructions.
