Registration Info
Registration for the 2023 Hokie Half Marathon & 5k is now open! Registration fees go up August 16th to $93 for the Hokie Half Marathon and $33 for the Hokie 5K. The first 500 current VT students receive a $10 discount for the Hokie Half ($3 for the Hokie 5k) but must turn in the paper form to RunAbout Sports. Online registration closes at midnight on September 14th; paper forms will be accepted until 8pm on September 16th.
No Frills Option – For a cheaper price, you can run the Hokie Half with the no frills package. The no frills package means you get your racing bib, Hokie Bird finisher medal if you finish, food, and all the race course amenities. You will not receive the registration shirt, finisher shirt and other race swag.

* The virtual option must be completed between September 25th and October 10th. A photo of your Garmin, Strava, Map My Run, etc. will be needed to confirm finish. Virtual results will be listed, but in a separate, virtual-only category. You can email proof to RunAboutSports@gmail.com. CANCELLATION AND TRANSFER POLICY
Registration fees are NON-REFUNDABLE. We do allow the transfer of your bib number as long as it is done by September 3rd, 2023.
You can also defer your registration for one calendar year but must email us (runaboutsports@gmail.com) at least one week before the event date (September 10th, 2023). There is a $10.00 fee to defer.
You can also change races. There is a $10.00 unless transferring from the half to the 5K with a finisher medal. Then there is no refund for the difference.
NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE.
